Sri Krishna says that all jivas are part and parcel of His own self and they are eternally related to Him. Again he says:
"I am the father, the mother, the Sustainer of the universe".
We are all children of immortal bliss, eternally related to the Supreme Being. But His divine power makes us forget this reality.
A prince was kidnapped by a robber. The boy was brought up in a remote town in the poor family of the robber. The boy grew up and was engaged in robbery with his new foster father. Unexpectedly the king came to that town for some function and was received by a big procession. This boy happened to be there to do his job. The moment he saw the King sitting on the horses, he remembered that he was his real father and rushed to him calling loudly 'Father, Father'. The King also recognised his lost son, jumped from the horse and embraced his son. The lost son got back his kingdom and was made a king by his father later.
We are all princes, the sharers of divine wealth. But in the human garb we have lost our real kingdom and roaming on this foreign land. Narendranath, in his first visit to Sri Ramakrishna sings a Begnali song. 'O my mind, let us go to our real home, which is the feet of Lord. Why are you roaming here in this foreign land (this world), wearing the foreign robes (human body).
"Bhakti-Yoga is a real, genuine search after the Lord, a search beginning, continuing, and ending in love. One single moment of the madness of extreme love to God brings us eternal freedom."--- Swami Vivekananda
