Chapter -4   Slokas — 18
He who sees inaction in action and action in inaction is wise amongst men: he is poised and a performer of all actions.

"Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter". Sword is mighty, but pen is mightier. Speech is silver, but silence is golden. Action is power, but inaction is a greater power.

Karma yoga it is when we work without working, sing without singing, do without doing, and fight without fighting and vice versa.

Irrespective of our action, we must be in a position to be calm at heart. Let there be no tension at any time. To be sober within is yoga.

The fighting Arjuna has the quiet Arjuna at heart. And the quietly sitting Arjuna is fighting with the enemies at heart.

The dancing Natraja Siva has the meditating Siva in Him. And the silently sitting Siva is running the cosmic administration from within. Similarly, Swami Vivekananda while working as a cyclonic monk awakening all, all over the world was quiet at heart. And while sitting silent in meditation, he works through all, all over the world for the betterment of everybody.

Let's work without working. And let us be at rest and peacefully quiet while being engaged in activity. And let our silence also be a dynamic activity within and without.

"Inactivity should be avoided by all means. Activity always means resistance. Resist all evils mental and physical; and when you have succeeded in resisting, then will calmness come."--- Swami Vivekananda
