There are many objects and people in the world. All of them look different. But they are all the manifestations of the same divinity. In all of them, we find the same five elements in various proportions. Beyond and beneath them, there is but one truth. And it is God who is like a string in and through all the beads of a garland.
Ornaments of gold are many in shape and weight. But the gold is same in all of them. Appliances like fan, radio etc., are many but the power in them all is the same electricity. Ornaments may change, but gold remains; there can be gold without an ornament. But there is no golden ornament without gold.
In man and in animal, in birds and in beasts and in all the creatures all over the globe, there is the same life, love and intelligence unseen and in diverse expressions. And beyond them all, in and through them all, is one truth or power, or energy, which we call God. And this God in all is seen by the wise. The core Truth is God. The wise ones see the core Truth.
"The fool, dwelling on the bank of the Ganga, digs a well for water, such are we! Living in the midst of God - we must go and make images. We project Him in the form of the image, while all the time He exists in the temple of our body. We are lunatics and this is the great delusion. Worship everything as God - every form is His temple. All else is delusion. After so much austerity, I have understood this as the real truth - God is present in every Jiva; there is no other God besides that. 'Who serves Jiva, serves God indeed'."--- Swami Vivekananda
