Chapter -7   Sloka — 17
Of these, the man of knowledge who is constantly in communion and singleminded in devotion excels. To the man of knowledge I am very dear indeed, and he is dear to Me.

Blessed are the devotees for they are looked after by God. A true devotee thinks always of God and God too always thinks of the devotee. They think of each other as friends, as parent and child, as husband and wife, as lovers, as a kind master and a faithful servant, as a loving teacher and a loyal student.

Once Sri Krishna was found absorbed in meditation by Yudhishthira. He asked, "Krishna, what is it you are thinking?" Krishna replied 'Yudhishthira, I am thinking of my beloved devotee Bheeshma'. Both Krishna and Yudhishthira, therefore, proceeded to the old veteran who was on the bed of arrows. Surprisingly, the old warrior Bheeshma too was thinking of Sri Krishna only. They are dear to each other. Therefore, Sri Krishna requested Bheeshma to dispel the ignorance of Yudhishthira who was reluctant to accept the crown because, he felt he was responsible for the great war. Before the commencement of the war, Sri Krishna dispelled the despondency of Arjuna. And now his devotee Bheeshma was given the divine work of removing the reluctance of Yudhishthira. For 56 days Bheeshma discoursed on Dharma to make Yudhishthira fit enough to sit on the Kuru throne.

Sri Ramakrishna was ever thinking of Narendra. Simultaneously, Narendra was also remembering Sri Ramakrishna. All the great discoveries of Sri Ramakrishna, therefore, were imparted to the disciple Narendra. And the young Narendra as Vivekananda gave them all to the mankind for its betterment. Master and disciple, on account of their mutual love and affection, distribute the fruits of their discoveries and Truths to the people. Blessed are the beneficiaries.

"Pray to Him with a yearning heart and weep. That will purify your heart." --- Sri Ramakrishna
