Chapter -9   Slokas — 11
The ignorant deride Me who have taken a human form, not knowing My higher nature as the great Lord of beings.

A diamond fails to have its value properly assessed by a vegetable vendor. Only a diamond merchant can value it well and accurately.

Duryodhana was unable to see the divinity of Sri Krishna. He only laughed at his divine powers and called him a cheap magician. Vidura, the wise was able to see God in Sri Krishna.

Sri Rama, though of humble appearance in the forest, cannot be mistaken for an ordinary person. He is God incarnate. He is mistaken for an ordinary man by Ravana. His divinity is worshipped by Sabari.

There are people who cannot value precious things also properly. Sri Ramakrishna was considered to be a mad man by many. His divinity was perceived, in those days, only by a few.

Fools disregard God as one putting on human body, not knowing his supreme nature as the great Lord of beings. People surround us when we are rich and prosperous, intelligent and powerful. But the moment we are found to be less useful and less powerful, they discard us.

Buddha was forsaken by all, when he was in the woods seeking to know the Truth. Only the wise ones know the value of a diamond, divinity of Sri Rama, enlightenment of Buddha and the spiritual effulgence of Sri Ramakrishna.

"Whatever the Vedas, the Vedanta, and all other Incarnations have done in the past, Sri Ramakrishna lived to practise in the course of a
single life.
