     The Navaratri-Dasara festival was celebrated with religious fervour in the Math.  The celebration began on Shasti, Sunday, 5th October.  It concluded on Dashami, Friday, 10th October.

     On puja days special worship of Divine Mother Durga began at 7.00 am followed by Chandi (Durga Saptashati) parayanam with the devotees accompanying the chanting. There was special Arati to Divine Mother at 7.15 p.m. which was followed by special Bhajans.  There was Special Puja to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna on 8th Oct. followed by Homa.  On Dashami day Shanti Jal (sprinkling of Holy water on all the devotees with chanting of Veda Mantras) took place at 7.45 pm.

     A Video CD on Kailash Manasarovar pilgrimage, produced by Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad was released on the occasion.

     Sri Lakshmi Puja was celebrated at the Math on Tuesday, 14 October.  The special Puja began at 6.00 pm accompanied by special bhajans.  The Puja concluded with Arati and Prasad distribution at 8.30 pm.  Large number of devotees attended the celebrations.
