Residential Youth Camp"Residential Youth Camp" was conducted at "Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad" on 22, 23 & 24th of June 2007. This year "Residential Youth Camp" was conducted at "Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad" on 22, 23 & 24th of June 2007. It was a three days camp for the youth between the age group of 18 to 25. In all 100 youth (77 boys and 23 girls) participated in the camp. The day started at 5.00 am with Mangalarati in the Temple followed by Vedic chanting, Prayers, Yoga, Meditation, Lectures, Group discussions, Bajanas in temple, Interactive sessions and in the night before going to bed there would be informal discussions with various Swamijis up to 11.00 pm. In the inaugural session Swami Srikantanandaji, Director, Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, welcomed the delegates. Swami Jnanadanandaji, President of the Math, said in his inaugural address that our character depends on sum total of our "Samskaaras", and we need to purify our mind by developing discrimination. Swami Bodhamayananda of Ramakrishna Mission Chennai, gave lecture regarding "Education for Excellence" and gave tips and many examples to achieve excellence. He told how in this modern world youth “sleep with eyes open". Then Sir I.V.Chalapathi Rao gave lecture regarding "Art of Living". In the afternoon session Sri Nrupendar Rao gave lecture on "Six Steps for Personality Development" and afterwards Swami Anupamananda, Director, Vivekananda Institute of Languages, spoke on "Swami Vivekananda’s Message to the Youth". On the second day Swami Bodhamayananda, Sri M.C.Das, Sri Gopal Krishna gave excellent lectures regarding "Making life out of life, Personal and Professional Excellence, Interpersonal Relations, Self Confidence”. The third day also speakers gave lectures regarding "Leadership qualities, Ramakrishna Movements Its Ideal and Ideas, Values in Management". The youth benefited a lot by the camp and acquired "Physical, Mental, Intellectual, Spiritual" food. In this camp all the youth got surcharged with positive thoughts. On all the three days the key role was played by "Swami Bodhamayananda" who came from Chennai Math and inspired all the youth. It is really with the blessings of "Holy Trinity" on all the youth who participated in the camp.
