CATCH THEM YOUNG

(Personality Development workshops for 9th & 10th Class Students)

Sri Ramakrishna said “When bricks are unbaked and soft, they can retain the stamp; but once they are baked they break.”

Children are the greatest asset of society. The right age to mould their character is when they are young. Today, we are living in a society where everything is valued in terms of money. Moral, ethical, and spiritual values are neglected in the name of secularism. Children do not know about their great heritage and culture. They are not taught even simple things as to how to respect parents and teachers. And the result is that they are unable to develop a full-fledged value-based personality. In order to inculcate positive ideas amongst children,Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence has taken up an ambitious project CATCH THEM YOUNG for the 9th and 10th class students of different educational institutions. Under this project, the institute will conduct special workshops every Saturday at the Institute premises from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Inspiring subjects, such as Personality Development,Confidence Building, Mind Management,Time Management,Communication Skills,Message of Swami Vivekananda, Indian Culture, etc., will be covered during each workshop.

Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence,a training wing of Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, is actively engaged in imparting moral, ethical, cultural, human and spiritual values to the various cross sections of society, through offering different courses for youth, teachers, students, officials and others.

The institute has successfully completed two projects during the last three years. The one was 'Youth of India, Arise!' under which more than one lakh college youth were exposed to positive ideas for the all-round Personality Development. And the other was 'Chetana', which brought awareness among the people of different villages and towns of Andhra Pradesh. About 40,000 people benefited through the Chetana programmes. This year our focus is on children between 13 and 15 yrs of age.

The Principals/Management are requested to contact the institute and enroll their students of 9th and 10th class for these workshops. There is no entry fee. Participating students will be given snacks and free literature.
