Webteam

The current web team started the Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad website work in September 2003. Team has updated two site designs using static web pages before. Site moved to new website using Plone software on Aug 2005. Plone site moved to new server using Plone 2.5.1 on Aug 2006. Many members have contributed to this activity till now and we are expecting many more members to join in this noble activity. The primary reason of selecting the Plone CMS as a base software for the new site is to increase the webteam size and speed up the content generation. Current webteam (85 group members as of Oct 2006) members are contributing from various locations in the world.

Information to join webteam

Webteam member is anybody who is interested to contribute to this website and must be acquainted with the Ramakrishna, Vivekananda ideals.

Voluntary Roles available are:-

Technical team member

Anybody having expertise in any of the HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, Plone, Python, Flash, Media editing(Images/flash) areas and interested to contribute to site can join.

Content team member

Anybody with acquaintance with Vedanta/Indian traditions/RK Math, Hyderabad Activities and interested to contribute to site can join. Knowin Computer, Email and Word usage is an added advantage.
